Oliwia read Psychological and Behavioural Sciences at Christ's College, Cambridge, graduating with a BA (Hons) in June 2023. While at Cambridge, she researched the role of dopamine in attention using fibre photometry with Prof Jeff Dalley thanks to the Amgen Scholars Programme. She also interned in policy consulting at RAND Europe, working in the Home Affairs and Social Policy team. Oliwia completed her undergraduate research dissertation in the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit at the Woolgar lab, focusing on using drift-diffusion models to help understand individual differences in perceptual learning. 

Oliwia is fascinated by behavioural, systems, and cognitive neuroscience, as well as interdisciplinary mental health research. She is also passionate about science communication and loves to get involved in initiatives broadening access to scientific knowledge. 

She is currently completing her first rotation in the Population theme, focusing on Mendelian randomisation and how it can be used for drug development in Prof Jean-Baptiste Pingault's lab.
